Lulu Trixabelle is a 24 year old fashion design graduate dreaming of taking over the world with Confetti Crowd. She’s hoping to turn her label, FLUFFY, into something much bigger while sharing the idea that you can build a career out of something small.
WHAT DOES BEING PART OF THE CONFETTI CROWN MEAN TO YOU?
For me, it’s very much about supporting, encouraging and pushing each other to be the best version of ourselves. I am constantly inspired by these girls as they understand the kind of life I want to lead. Some of my other “non blogger” friends don’t really relate to what I do and ask how I even make any money doing it! So it’s nice to be able to have a group of friends who really get me.
WHAT IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND CONFETTI CROWD, HOW DO YOU WORK TOGETHER AND WHAT IS THE MISSION?
Our biggest goal is to empower young people worldwide, spread the girl power, and show that you can turn any idea into a job. Too much girl hate happens on social media, and together we want to end this. No matter what race, religion, sexuality or gender, it’s so important to remember we are one human race!
YOUR BLOG IS DESIGNED TO “INSPIRE THOSE WHO WANT TO LIVE A STYLISH, WELL TRAVELLED LIFE ON A BUDGET”. WHAT IS THIS YOUR FOCUS AND HOW DO YOU BEGIN SHARING THIS IDEA?
My blog was originally started as a place to share my car boot sale bargains, so I have kept its thrifty vibe over the 6 years I’ve been blogging. I’ve never had a lot of money so to me it’s so important to show that you don’t need money to have nice things or dress well! So many people waste money on expensive clothes and shoes they’ll never wear and I think it’s such a shame. You can have just as nice things second hand. I am also a major wanderlust, and if I had the money I’d be travelling the world forever, so I like to share my tips to make and save money easily, and how to travel on a small budget.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL TO ONE PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE?
My favourite country I’ve been to is Indonesia, and I’m actually heading back there this month. Next on my list after that is India and the Philippines.
WHEN YOU EXPERIMENT WITH CLOTHES, WHAT IS THE THOUGHT PROCESS? HOW DOES IT ALL COME TOGETHER?
I’ve always just flung things together. Sometimes it looks like a big colourful mess, and other times it accidentally all just works!
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
I usually start my day with breakfast and catching up on emails, editing videos and typing up blog posts. Most days I’m working on my fashion label FLUFFY. On more interesting days I’ll be in London shooting with Confetti Crowd, having meetings with brands and attending various events.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PLANS FOR THIS YEAR?
I kept my goals realistic this year… Go to the gym regularly, travel more, keep my blog and YouTube channel updated, and work on my label.
