Keeping it weird since 2001, Lazy Oaf make a splash and belly flop into Summer with their second swimwear offering.

As I sit here wearing my cropped Lazy Oaf baseball tee with strategically placed skulls on my chest, I find myself admiring the retro inspired gingham and candy-striped cozzies that tick all the poolside nostalgia boxes. I want it all. Rainbow ruffles and cloud print cut-outs hint at lazy days spent at the lido, whilst sportier shapes cater for the contemporary beach bum… Just beware of the shark bite bikini.

Shot in a dreamy 1930’s swimming baths by photographer Cecy Young; the hazy vibe is to die for. Vintage inspired dreams meet modern day culture with a forever young feeling. Lazy Oaf nail pop art influences with statement graphic prints and bold colours; but the palette here is soft, and understated. It feels bold because you know it should be, but do you know what honey? Own it.

No diving at the deep end for us thanks, we’re cool splashing around with the armbands on. Shame we need to book the holiday first…
