Rising Swedish star, Elias, has revealed the brand new track ‘Hope”; the track will appear on his debut album due for release later this year via Warner Music. It comes after the release of his recent single, ‘Thinking of You’, which you can listen to here. ‘Thinking of You’ was produced by long-time partner HYENA, and features the Tensta Gospel Choir’s sweeping strings and singers.
‘Hope’ is a stunningly soulful pop number. It showcases breathtaking vocal talent, beautiful harmonies and strong emotive songwriting skills. He also revealed a special live piano video of the track filmed in an abandoned tunnel in suburbs of Årsta. Filmed just outside of Stockholm, you can watch it HERE.

Elias first emerged with his 2015 debut single ‘Revolution’. He quickly sparked attention from the likes of Noisey who described him as “a concoction of James Blake soulfulness and Bon Iver potential”, and i-D who prompted comparisons with FKA Twigs, Spooky Black, Anthony Hamilton and Sam Cooke as they praised his “gorgeously profound voice.”

He went on to release the likes of ‘Green Eyes’, which premiered with BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, and ‘Down N Out’ which was accompanied by a Swedish Grammy Award nominated video that also saw Elias perform live on the show.

There will be much more to explore when the album emerges, but Elias consistently writes with a passion for both internal turmoil and social issues.
