Rising Croydon based MC, Yung Fume, recently released the video and audio for the first track to be lifted from his debut EP, ‘Level Up’ via Payday Records. The track is titled ‘Something Else’ and was produced by Atlanta super-producer, Zaytoven. Featuring a guest appearance from rapper Young Nudy. it was filmed in Atlanta and was the first collaboration between the UK and the Georgia capital.

The groundbreaking US/UK collaboration talks about being young and living carefree. The video showcases Yung Fume and Young Nudy together in a gritty trap house with their friends. Yung Fume and Young Nudy can be seen smoking, partying, recording music, and of course about to get raided by ICE.

This is the first single off of this artists upcoming EP, ‘Level Up’. Young Fume first started making noise with a guest appearance on Stormzy’s debut EP, ‘Dreamers Disease’. A trio of independently released mixtape – ‘Too Much Wave’, ‘Noughts and Crosses’ and ‘Noughts and Crosses 2’ – followed.

The video boasts a beautifully hazy aesthetic, with graphic flashes thrown in for good measure. It’s fuelled by attitude and a self-assured hardness. The pair have no qualms about showing us who’s in charge with this sound, and neither can we blame them.
