On March 10th, I headed down to see the multi-talented Jonas Blue headline at Electric, located in what is recently often referred to ‘South London’s Shoreditch’- Brixton. Supported by Marvin Humes, M-22, Jack Wins, Vernon James and a special guest performance by Nora En Pure. The show had everything to get your pulse racing from deep electro sounds, the jungle themed stage/ DJ set and explosive lights which all kept the crowd jumping.
The dance-pop tunes enthused an ambiance of feel-good energy, reflecting Jonas’s most successful single to date ‘Perfect Strangers’. Through his considered collaborations, he continues to release chart-worthy hits. His most recent feature on ‘Hearts aint gonna lie’ with Arlissa is a perfect example of his renowned meaningful yet upbeat sound which you can imagine being played on repeat at your typical European summer beach party. As he continues to perform worldwide this year, I’m sure we can expect to hear exciting new releases is we progress through 2018.
