On March 31st, I went to see one of my favourite electronic duo Gorgon City, who performed live at the O2 arena in Brixton.

The line up involved live performances and a DJ sets on the night, providing an amazing experience for concert goers.

The Line-up included Gorgon City (live), Booka Shade, Josh Butler, Max Chapman and Naations who came out to sing one of their most famous track, “Real Life” with Gorgon city.

They had an electric crowd, who built up the atmosphere from 9pm-4am with the concert lasting 7 hours. The crown seemed to love them, with everyone singing their songs and knowing every word to them and dancing away. I was extremely excited to see them, since they perform one of my favourite songs, “Ready for your love” which was actually the song they closed the live set with.  They had party cannons and balloons thrown about when they played their last song, which made the crowd give their all and sing along. Their song “Motorola” is another song which I can see being a summer hit.

Although the show was brilliant, they venue itself had a very long queue for the smoking area meaning people had paid a lot of money to miss a large chunk of the acts due to bad organisation and preparation. The venue should’ve made at least two smoking areas available, so there wouldn’t be a long queue.

They had 2 bars on either side of the arena and one outside of the main room in the smaller room so it was easy to get a drink at any point during the concert.

Apart from that the show was incredible. I would love to see all of the acts in concert again.
