For anyone not familiar with your music, how would you describe your sound?
My sound is a fusion of Alternative R&B laced with Reggae, House and garage elements. My mission is to create soul-stirring, sultry, quirky music that provokes visceral emotions and allows listeners to escape to a beautiful safe haven, where they can dance and be free.
What are your musical influences?
Born and raised in London, I was fortunate to be exposed to an eclectic range of artists that deeply inspired my sound. I am profoundly influenced by Sade, Soul to Soul, Michael Jackson, Brandy, D’Angelo, Rachelle Ferrell, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Erykah Badu, Beyonce, FKA Twigs, Sting, and Prince.
What do we have to look forward to for the rest of 2018, going into 2019?
I’m presently recording my debut EP, which will be a mixture of up-tempo and ballads that infuse alternative/dance with r&b/hip-hop/soul being the core sounds. I also will be shooting music videos and plan to organize my own musical showcases in early fall into 2019.
