Don’t Miss Out On Balaton Sound Festival 2018

Next week, the picturesque location of Lake Balaton Zamárdi will be the home to thousands of party-goers for 5 days of partying on the beach to one of the hottest line-ups of the summer.

Gracing the stage are biggest global names in pop, rap, dance and EDM including Alesso, Axwell, Ingrosso, The Chainsmokers, Rita Ora, David Guetta, Big Sean, Martin Garrix, Jonas Blue, Ty Dolla $ign, Black Coffee, Eric Prydz, Craig David presents TS5, Giggs, Dreezy, Ella Eyre, Yang Bane, Big Shaq, Camelphat, Disciples, Princes Nokia to name a few and we’re just getting started!

Kicking things off on the main stage are Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Oliver Heldens on 4th July. Following on from the success of their summer anthem ‘More Than You Know’, Balatonby and Alesso also headline while Goldlink, Kayzo, Carnage and hype up the crowd over at the Jäger Arena. Spread over more than 30 different venues, waterfront and even floating bars, Balaton has something for everyone.

The 5-day crazy beach party, and sister of Sziget festival in Hungary, also welcome the likes of Martin Solveig, Disciples and UK garage pioneer Craig David bringing his TS5 show to the Jager Arenaon 7th July, following the release of his latest album ‘The Time Is Now.’ Best known for her breakthrough Rudimental collab ‘Waiting All Night’, Ella Eyre will also join proceedings, along with Vini Vici, Carnage, Night Lovell, Nghtmre, and Princess Nokia. Former Swedish House Mafia juggernauts Axwell Λ Ingrossoset headline the main stage on 8th July.

Also reppin’ the UK is Rita Ora accompanied by viral sensation Big Shaq and afrobeat artist Yxng Bane who’s chart-topping single “Bestie” earned him a MOBO nomination. Serving up a much needed dose of grime, hip-hop, pop and dance will be American rappers Big Sean, known as one of Kanye West’s most successful proteges and Goldlink, who’s Grammy nominated single ‘Crew’ went Platinum last year. On the flipside, keeping it homegrown, local talent has been added to line-up in the shape of Brains, Majka & Curtis live, Wellhello, Saverne, A Kezdetphiai and Punnany Massif for an eclectic line up.

As if that wasn’t enough, Balaton will also be hosting a week of nautical boat parties. Berlin duo Booka Shade will kick things off on Wednesday, ‘Be Sharp Say Nowt’ producer Patrick Topping will play Friday’s event, alongside Poli, with Scuba providing a very special b2b performance alongside Agoriaat Saturday’s party. BPitch Control label founder Ellen Allien will close things out on Sunday, with one of the most eagerly anticipated boat parties of the week.
