On Sunday, June 30th, after two successful years, Community Festival returns to Finsbury Park in North London. Community Festival pushes forward the most exciting acts of indie music. It is a one-day music festival, but it is talent-packed.
Previous years, people got to see the best out of what the UK”s music has to offer at main stage and at N4 stage. For headliners, Community Festival pleased the crowds with Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, You Me At Six, Catfish And The Bottlemen. Other acts were Sam Fender, Tom Grennan, The Wombats and many more.
This year, with promising sunny weather predictions, Community Festival stepped its game up and comes up with its best line up yet. The 2019 headliner is the English indie rock band The Kooks. Coming from Brighton, the band formed back in 2004. Their most popular hits include ‘Naive’, ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’, ‘Seaside’, ‘Bad Habits’ and more.
Over fifteen years, The Kooks released five studio albums with ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ (2006), ‘Junk of the Heart’ (2011) and the newest one ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’ (2018). Only a few days ago, The Kooks blessed us with a new track called ‘So Good Looking’ just in time to get us pumped for their Sunday performance.
Another headliner that will kick off is the Enlighs indie pop band Blossoms. Some of their biggest tracks include ‘Charlemagne,’ ‘There’s A Reason Why’, ‘Honey Sweet’.
Other performances you should not miss at this year’s Community Festival is The Hunna, Don Broco, Kate Nash, Gerry Cinnamon, Sea Girls, The Amazon, The Night Cafe, THe Academic, BLOXX. Sounds tempting? You can still get your tickets here.
